My computer had lots of problems when I took it in.  Skitch did a GREAT job in getting it cleaned up and running again.  since I am not a computer "geek", I relied on information given to me.  He presented a different anti-virus from what I was using, and since the one that I had seemed not to be doing the job, I agreed.  He installed it and showed me how to use it when I came to pick up my computer.  I was charged $70.00 for something that I found on the internet last night for $15.00.  I guess that is what happens when we don't know enough about what is being presented to take them at their word.

Other that that, I am very happy with with service received at the store.

Great feedback! I looked into it, and it looks like you purchased a retail/boxed version of the software with the CD included, which also comes with a 3-user license as opposed to a single user license. You can load that software on two more PC's - and you don't have to worry about a download link expiring. I believe the version you found is a OEM version of the software. We set our pricing to the MSRP that the software company has provided to us. I apologize for the confusion! Smiley

I will be proactive and get our vendor on the line, and see if there have been changes made to the 'rules' we are bound to. I don't know how the vendor you've discovered is able to bend the rules, but to my our knowledge - there isn't a way for us to sell OEM product without the purchase of a new PC. Unless we flat out disobey the license agreements.

Very happy to hear your service experience rocked! If you have absolutely any other questions, please let us know!
