Strange Firmware Updates

Just curious:
What is the weirdest thing that you have ever flashed a bios or firmware on? For me it would have to be probably be a toss up between an HD television that was being used as a monitor (flashing fixed a display issue with it), or perhaps a cad plotter that was 8 years old. Anyone else have weird items with firmware that they have flashed?
Better yet... what items have you bricked by flashing? Ha ha
