Sometime in the near future i'll very likely be buying a geekbox gaming laptop, but i have a design in my head that needs consideration in the mean time.
The basic idea behind the build is to hide it in the furniture of my living room. Im looking at building a PC complete with monitors into a coffee table of my own design and making. Thinking 3 monitors that would slide up out of the table vertically. Im also looking at a HDMI transmitter/receiver to send to my main tv and suround sound system. The PC is mainly going to be a multi media system, but ill also be playing some games and deal of 3DS MAX/Photoshop/CAD I've built computers in the past but i've been out of the loop for some time and im not up on current hardware, so i do have questions on how feasible it would be to have up to 4 monitors running at once at least at 1080. I admit this is a huge undertaking for me even at the design stage, so it may never come to fruition but any input would be greatly appreciated. |

What I'm looking for is a decent gaming laptop (I'd like to play SC2 on high settings smoothly, but medium, is okay) that is smaller than the standard 15" size. Known of your advertised laptops are that small, so I was wondering if Geekbox would custom make something like that and how much it would cost. If you can't do that, would it be possible to upgrade a dedicated graphics card in something that small? I can't find anything that has a good enough graphics card in a smaller laptop, except maybe the alienware m11x, which is smaller than I'd like. Does Geekbox do this kind of upgrade? Wonderful post! I know that everyone likes the computer game . There are many types of the computer games. To download the online game , internet is a suitable option . Thanks for sharing the information . |

I just got off the phone with Zach (one of the GeekBox tech geniuses), and he confirmed that my beast of a PC, a customized Ego Maniacal, will arrive (hopefully) on Monday or Tuesday of next week. I've promised him that upon arrival, the unboxing, setup, and magical moment when I hit the power button will all be captured on video + photographs. I will also be posting a full review, detailing the entire experience.
I'd like to be able to take the time to personally thank everyone on the GeekBox staff for, not only taking on this insane project, but for patiently answering all of my questions (no matter how stupid), helping me understand (in non-techie genius terms) what was happening and how the process works w/r/t a project of this magnitude. They even - and this is unusual for self-proclaimed computer geeks - went hugely creative aesthetically w/ this computer, making sure the insides matched the outside and everything looked as tech-savvy on the exterior and the interior bits deserved to look. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at names and the only people whose names I can be sure actually belong to Geekbox employees are Zach and Adrian, both of whom did an incredible job. I really wish I could recall the name of everyone I've spoken to in the last month or two, because everybody I interacted with at GeekBox had the same friendly, upbeat and helpful demeanor that is so far and away from the kind of "help" one receives when phoning up one of their competitors (and I'm not just referring to the big, anonymous, mass-production computer giants - - I've dealt with high end, custom computer companies before, and I've never gotten anywhere near this level of professional competence matched with personal attentiveness before). All I can really say is this: if you're on the fence whether spending a little more for the Geekbox experience makes sense, both in terms of product quality and company accessibility and integrity, it's really an easy decision. I haven't even seen (well, I've seen photographs - - yes, they send you photo updates) my computer yet, and I'm already completely sold on this company. |

For starting a big game in computer , we need some special hardware and software like graphics card is a hardware and driver of graphics card is a software. These software are helping to start the game in a suitable manner.
Thanks to read my comment ! ! |

Guys,
I'm a new customer; picking up my PC after servicing in a few minutes. I'd like to suggest making your addresses available a little easier from the home page, maybe a link at the top of the page, or something. I was surprised at how many clicks it took me to find the actual address (I don't claim to be a brainiac, by the way). Anyway, the guys at the Sandy store have been great to work with so far. I'm a fan! Mel |
